The childhood of Jesus
The childhood of Jesus by South-African born writer, J. M. Coetzee, is a book of fiction about a man, Simon and a boy, David who meet on a boat with David carrying a letter
explaining who his mother was. Since he lost the letter before they arrived the new country, Simon takes it upon himself to help David find his mother.
The story is not about Jesus, though the writer did make it seem like there were some similarities between the little boy, David and the way we ordinarily imagine or understand Jesus' childhood to be.
