The Chronicles of Narnia

Clive Staples Lewis, commonly known as C. S Lewis, wrote quite a number of books in his time. 'The Chronicles of Narnia' is one of his best known books particularly due to the popularity of one of its stories, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrope. The story features four children, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy and their adventures in the land of Narnia where animals talk and magic generally comes alive. They encounter several mythical creatures such as the Faun (half human, half goat) and Centaur (Half human, half horse), and most importantly,  Aslan (a lion).

They turn out to be heroes in the end after they defeated the white witch,
with the help of Aslan, and put an end to her wicked spell. Other stories in the Chronicles of Narnia are:
  •  The Magician's Nephew
  • The Horse and his boy
  • Prince Caspian
  • The voyage of the Dawn Treader
  • The Silver Chair
  • The Last Battle
